About this site

This site is dedicated to the Grandstream GXP-2000 IP phone. Over the years, we've used a large number of IP Phones at Netfuse, and none other seems as appropriate for our customers; there are many high end phones from manufacturers that have features the GXP range does not - but none at a reasonable price, and none with such potential.

The key feature pioneered by the GXP-2000 that stands out for us is the 'early dial' system. This feature, used properly, makes the Grandstream range of phones stand out above the rest, by providing the rapid dialling experience people are used to from Analogue phones.

The GXP2000 is feature complete with a large screen, suports power-over-Ethernet and XML configuration. It also supports a range of codecs that match well with the Asterisk open-source PBX system, such as uLaw, aLaw, iLbc, and GSM.

The Grandstream GXP range supports multiple SIP accounts, 7 or more programmable keys, visual message indicator and a speakerphone system with reliable echo cancellation (on recent firmwares - this used to be the main weakness of the Grandstream range!). Dual ethernet ports and a large backlit pixel-based multilingual LCD display and phonebook synchronisation over XML also help the range stand out from the crowd.
